Jamie B. CollinsAssociate Attorney
Jamie is a member of the Illinois Bar and has dedicated her time and career thus far to family law and children’s issues. She received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. While in law school Jamie was the Articles Editor for the Children’s Legal Rights Journal and was published in the same. Jamie was a legal writing tutor, as well as a clinician at the Loyola Civitas ChildLaw Center in the Policy and Legislation Clinic. She received certificates in both public interest, and child and family law, highlighting her work and study in both areas of law. Jamie was recognized by Loyola’s faculty and Deans for her commitment to leadership, service, and public interest.
Jamie spent time interning with Judge Pamela E. Loza, Supervising Judge of the Domestic Relations Division within the Cook County Circuit Court. She also utilized her 711 Student Practice License while volunteering with the Cook County Office of the Public Guardian in both the Domestic Relations and Juvenile Divisions. While at the Public Guardian’s Office, Jamie represented children in highly contested divorce and custody issues, as well as abuse and neglect cases. She also spent time working in a small private practice that handled family law, probate, and other civil matters.
